Spiritual formation is one of the hallmarks of Notre Dame of Greater Manila as an Oblate educational institution. Recollections, retreats, novenas, Masses and the sacraments are part of the spiritual program of the school.

These spiritual activities are also engaged in by the school personnel for their personal and professional development. In keeping with this goal, the administration provided a 3-day retreat for employees at the St. Paul Center for Renewal, Taywanak, Ilaya, Alfonso, Cavite last October 26 to 28, 2009.

The retreat aimed to: (1) bring out the best in each individual towards working for excellence through spiritual enrichment; (2) experience God’s grace in the midst of busy lives in order to partake in the realization of His kingdom through constant work; and, (3) unwind and rest from the usual routine work.

Thus, the employees enjoyed communing with nature at a retreat center with excellent facilities while seeking the time to renew their faith and commitment in their chosen vocations.

The retreat was facilitated by Rev. Fr. Ramon Ma. Bernabe, OMI, Oblate Provincial Superior, for the Grade School and High School faculty and administrators, and Rev. Fr. Gene P. Gilos, OMI for the De Mazenod School of Technology faculty and administrator, and support personnel.
